Even a wanderlust loves the journey back home. This time we embarked on a long journey that took me home - overland. Ten countries, thirty days, 17,500 kilometres. We travelled in nine different trains and by road. (Also a short flight, details will emerge). People and geography changed drastically as we moved east, from Europe to Asia, and then crossed the Himalaya into South Asia. Needless to say, we have made many many friends on our way.

A map of our travel

We started at London, where we work and live now, and ended at Siliguri, a town in India close to the tallest mountain range of the world - the Himalayas
We started off from London's St Pancras Intl on a Eurostar.
